Dead, Undead,
or Somewhere in between
Publisher: Mundania Press Genre: Urban Fantasy Rhiannon's Law: Book One
One bad corpse can ruin your whole day. No one knows that better than Rhiannon Murphy. She’s left behind the flash and sass of Miami for the no-nonsense groove of New York City, eager for a clean slate and a fresh start. A bartender by trade, a loud mouth by choice, and a necromancer by chance; she’s managed to keep her nifty talent hidden from those around her – until now.
The deliciously good-looking vampire Disco knows her secret, and when he strolls into her bar to solicit help investigating the mysterious disappearances of his kind from the city, she discovers he’s not the kind of person that appreciates the significance of the word no.
But in a world where vampires peddle their blood as the latest and greatest drug of choice, it’s only a matter of time before the next big thing hits the market. Someone or something is killing vampires to steal their hearts, and unlike Rhiannon, this isn’t their first stroll around the undead block.

I’ll be the first to admit I love to read. I’ll also admit there are few books that I have read that I truly like and would pass on to my friends. This is one of those books. When you first step into the Black Panther club, you feel like you’ve traversed into a new world. And trust me, you won’t want to leave. ~ 5/5 Cherries, Tiger Lily at Whipped Cream Reviews
4 out of 5 stars for me, a great start to a series with an ass-kicking heroine and that ending left a lot of possibilities as to what is going to happen next. ~ 4/5 Stars, Heather at Darkly Reading
Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between was a fast, and exciting read. Ms. Saare was created a gritty and sexy world. She does a wonderful job of weaving the paranormal into an urban setting. Rhiannon is definitely one of my favorite highlights in the story. She's my kind of girl. Blunt and doesn't take crap from anyone or anything. The end was also something of a surprise, I wasn't expecting that. I'm looking forward to see what happens in the next book. ~ 4/5 Stars, Anna at Anna's Book Blog
I enjoyed Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between with it’s colorful characters and sexy romance. Although it didn’t offer a whole new take on vampires, it did offer several unexpected twists that kept me turning the pages. The ending was bittersweet for me, as Ms. Saare lead me down a fairly obvious path to conclusion and then tossed in a very unexpected surprise at the end. I’m more than ready for the next book in series, The Renfield Syndrome. ~ 4/5 Hearts, Fiction Vixen Book Reviews
As I said on Twitter right after I finished, Dead, Undead and Somewhere in Between is full of awesome. It is the best feeling to pick up a book from a new (to me) author and have no idea what you are about to read, and then not be able to put it down until you read the last page...This is definitely a book that I savored every page and I am eagerly anticipating the release of the second, The Renfield Syndrome. 4.5/5, Mandi, Reviewer and operator of Smexy Books
I have to say that I have been in a reading funk; nothing has interested me lately. Dead, Undead and Somewhere in Between has definitely pulled me out of that funk. It is a great story, and Ms. Saare is an author I will be keeping my eye on. Her story was so good I didn't want it to end. ~ 5/5, Teagan S. Boyd, BookWenches |
